astrophotography
Iris nebula is en emblematic deep sky object in constellation Cepheus. It is a 6 light years wide dust cloud lit by a bright star sitting in the cloud. The nest around the star is very bright and well detailed, but the outer parts of the nebula is rather dark. It is always a challenge to show such dynamic differences in one picture.
