For a while now I am really interested in the dark nebula of Cepheus constellations and the LDN 1251 doesn’t make me dissatisfied. This is a really dark object. Here it is the 15 light-years wide deep sea fish which is 1000 light-years away from us, a molecular cloud in which stars are being born. In this field of view there are 12 Herbig-Haro objects and some of them are recognizable in the image.
